I am a teacher and I use this to mark my classroom set of calculators, netbooks, really anything I don’t want my students to have an easy time nicking. Once I’ve engraved, I put correction fluid over it, then wipe it away. The correction fluid sinks down into the engraving marks to make it more visible. Students will take off stickers, wipe off sharpie, but they have yet to find a way to “erase” this method of marking things. A++

I was not looking for a professional engraver, nothing fancy, just needed somthing affordable that i can engrave a personal gift with myself. So this one is perfect for what I need it for. I got what I was looking for.
Great tool to have around. Only down side (kinda), wish you didn’t have to keep holding down the power button. Wish it would just stay on until you click it again to turn off. Otherwise, it worked for what I needed. Engraving a lock for the wife. 🙂
Absolutely love this pen. A stroke rendered my handwriting illegible. My latest engraving was on an aluminum cake pan. The only drawbacks are that it it is too wide, and needs a finer point.
